Calls to the Sick
In our parish, the spiritual well-being of the sick and housebound holds paramount importance. Every month, Fr. Robert extends the grace of the Lord by visiting these members of our flock, offering the Sacraments of Confession, Holy Anointing, and Holy Communion. For those in hospitals or nursing homes, or in times of urgent need, Fr. Robert stands ready to serve. Additionally, our Commissioned Lay Ministers of the Eucharist dutifully bring Holy Communion to the sick and housebound.
Baptism
Thank you for your enquiry and congratulations and blessings on the arrival of your bundle of joy! Thank God for the gift of new life. You are most welcome to have your child christened in our parish. This is a serious commitment where you as the parents will both make solemn promises before God to bring your child up in the practice of the faith. It's isn't just a once-off. It's you taking on your God-given mission to pass on the faith to the next generation, a faith we "top up" weekly at Holy Mass. For your child's christening you will need: a baby/child, your good selves the parents, a godmother and godfather who are good examples of Catholic living, a candle, a white christening-robe,a heart full of faith, hope, and love, and a dodie! To organize the Baptism, contact Fr. Robert. Times are flexible.

Sacrament of Holy Anointing of the Sick
This Sacrament used to be called the "Last Rites", but now we call it the Sacrament of Healing. Healing comes in many forms. Simply the gift of acceptance can bring great healing. Fr. Robert makes monthly visits to the sick and housebound of the parish where he celebrates this holy Sacrament, along with Holy Communion and Confession, if the sick person wishes it. He's also available to make nursing-home and hospital visits to your loved-ones.
