VOCATIONS SOCIETY OF ST. JOSEPH: their aim is to provide material and spiritual support to young men studying for the priesthood, and they thank you for your contributions to their collection last weekend. Thank God, we now have one young man, Cathal Hickey, studying for the priesthood for our own diocese, and we thank the Lord for the three young men studying with Killaloe diocese next-door. If you want to get involved in the Vocations Society of St. Joseph, the local rep is Mrs. Frances O’Donohue, who can be contacted on 087 6537588.

CHILDREN’S DAY OF MISSION PRAYER: Friday, October 11th. In October, we also focus on praying for missionaries and their ministry in developing countries of spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. The theme of this year’s day is “share the Good News.” I will be sharing prayer-resources with our schools from mission.ie
