CHRISTMAS MASS TIMES: Christmas Eve, Sunday, December 24th: Childrens’ Mass in Doolin at 3pm (where baby Jesus will welcome another very special guest to His birthday), Kilshanny at 7pm, (preceded by Christmas carols), Christmas Eve Candlelight Mass in Lisdoonvarna at 10pm. NO SUNDAY MORNING MASSES ON CHRISTMAS EVE. NO SUNDAY MORNING MASSES ON CHRISTMAS EVE. Christmas Day, Monday, December 25: Early bird special in Toovahera at 8am, Doolin 10am, and Lisdoonvarna at 11.30am.

NORTH CLARE HISTORICAL SOCIETY: “Crossroads” the civil war in Co. Clare by Dr. Tomas MacConmara on Monday evening at 8.15pm in the Courthouse Gallery, Ennistymon.
BOXES OF WEEKLY COLLECTION ENVELOPES are now available for 2024. There are less this year due to increased donating on-line. Also, we have discontinued those which were not being used, as buying and printing of the boxes and envelopes is quite expensive. ANGEL VOICES CHILDRENS’ CHOIR will launch next Sunday at 11.30am Mass, directed by Kathleen Malone. Thank you Kathleen, Helen, Pat, and the parents’ group.
COME, LORD JESUS: Candlelight Advent prayer-time in Lisdoonvarna church on Wednesday evenings, 6pm to 7, starting with Rosary and ending with Holy Mass.
CONFESSION available Friday evening, 8-9pm Lisdoonvarna church.
CHRISTMAS MASS BOUQUET CARDS from our parish are now available, for an offering of euro 5 please, which will go towards parish church renovations. These beautiful cards include ones designed by students of Mary Immaculate secondary school Lisdoonvarna.
WHAT DO YOU THINK? I would like to refresh the back wall of the altar area of Corpus Christi Church, Lisdoonvarna by repainting it in a warm colour, and replacing the crucifix on that wall, just above the high altar, as many parishioners have asked me to do. I have checked with those who donated towards the original work and they have no objection. What do you think?
