FEAST OF DIVINE MERCY: the 3 O’ Clock prayer taught by Jesus to St. Faustina: “eternal God, in Whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase your mercy in us, so that in difficult moments we might not despair or become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen.”

CONFIRMATION: we welcome Dean Michael McLoughlin who will confirm our young people in Doolin church on Thursday at 11am. Please pray that they be strong and faithful Christians.
A SINCERE THANK YOU FOR LAST WEEK’S COLLECTION: €1913, and the Easter Dues: €4605.
MARY’S MEALS: fundraising coffee morning after 11.30am Mass next Sunday April 14th. All help welcome!.
THE KILSHANNY CAR PARK WALL is now complete, thank God. I wish to acknowledge the huge help that Shane Talty MCC has been to the parish in securing the funding for this work. In the coming months, Shane has scheduled, with Clare County Council and the ESB, the provision of public lighting, resurfacing, and lining of the car park. Thank you, Shane.
SINCERE THANKS for your Easter cards, gifts, Easter eggs (I am still resisting chocolate thank God!), and messages of encouragement and appreciation for the Holy Week liturgies. They are indeed a lot of work, as they deserve to be, being as they are the climax of our Christian year. Thank you to all who prepared them and participated in them. The truth is that we are all the Body of Christ, the Church, we all need each-other, inspire each-other,and encourage each-other along the Camino of faith. I in turn was so inspired by and want to say thank you for the faith and devotion of you who participated so fervently in the Holy Week liturgies, and made time for Our Lord during the most holy week of the year. It was particularly encouraging to see parents living out the promises they made at baptism by bringing their young children. I pray that we as individuals and as a parish community may die more and more to our own agenda, and grow to love Our Lord more and more, be merciful like Him, as we think about what He and Our Blessed Lady went through for us. May their good example remind us that we are never alone, and that, if we have faith, hope and trust, all our Good Fridays will become Easter Sundays.
HOLY LAND PILGRIMAGE: I have had some enquiries about our proposed parish pilgrimage to Israel and Palestine next year. I had hoped to celebrate my 30th anniversary of ordination to priesthood therewith those of you who could come. However, as you know, that seems very unlikely now. We will make our pilgrimage in better times, please God. Meanwhile, let’s pray that the Lord will touch the hearts of those involved in the conflict and that Our Lady the Queen of Peace will intercede for a peaceful and just resolution.
HEALING BLESSINGS to our beloved parish volunteers Helen McNamara and Martin Doran, who hope to resume their ministries soon please God. They asked me to extend my thanks to you for your prayers.
